PRISM Credit


The RRVEC will:

  • Submit a "Cafeteria" Plan on behalf of participating RRVEC Schools

(Allows educators to select a variety of short-term training opportunities/learning events and accumulate their hours toward credit over a school year.)

  • Gather Event Learning forms and submit to UND on behalf of participating RRVEC Schools

  • Report approval of all PD events to participating RRVEC Schools

  • Provide PD planning materials and samples for participating RRVEC Schools

  • Serve as the Instructor of Record for Professional Development Submissions in the Cafeteria Plan

  • Support Participating RRVEC in the collection of materials that align to leadership evaluation and school improvement

The responsibility of individual districts is:

  • Present and explain guidelines about credit information to their local staff

  • Submit all Learning Event Forms PRIOR to the event

  • Gather and record participation/attendance at learning events

  • Collect reflective information on professional learning aligned to school improvement goals

  • Sign off and verify completion of professional learning by a Principal or Superintendent for local staff
